New UKFPO – Invitation to Senior Clinicians New SJT Trial
UKFPO – Invitation to Senior Clinicians New SJT Trial
We are looking for a minimum of 30 Senior Clinicians to sit the trial SJT on 20th - 31st January (excluding the 29th) to aid in trialling the test and questions. Not only will you be helping us to provide the best SJT experience possible in future, but you will be able to document your involvement in the test as part of your career development. To take part, please complete the short registration survey clicking here.
We also require over 1,000 F1 doctors to help to test the new computerised delivery of the SJT. We are asking for F1 doctors to be released to take part in this trial, which is scheduled to take place between the 20th – 31st of January 2020 (excluding the 29th). Three hours will need to be allotted to allow F1 trainees to take the test; either at the local Pearson Vue testing centre in their area, or remotely with an online proctor. Reminder FY2 Regional Quality Improvement Competition
Frimley Park Hospital, Wednesday 27th November 2019
FY2 Doctors are invited to submit an abstract by 5pm Friday 1st November 2019
A panel of Clinicians will shortlist applications and invite a maximum of 10 Doctors to present their Audits and a further 15 to display posters by Wednesday 6th November 2019.
Rules and Judging Criteria
Terms & Conditions:
- Abstracts should be a maximum of 250 words in a word document.
- All Abstracts to be emailed to emily.cahalane@nhs.net by 17.00hrs, Friday 1st November 2019
- A maximum of 10 entrants will be invited to give presentations and 15 to produce posters by Wednesday 6th November 2016
- The judges’ decision will be final.
- A full list of finalists and winners will be available.
- By competing it is accepted that permission is given for photographs to be made available on the FPH and STFS website
Judging Criteria:
Audits will be assessed and scored in five fields:
- Clarity & Presentation
- Importance
- Originality
- Evidence of change (Change achieved or planned action)
- Data Quality
